ON BOTS at Bett UK 2024: Exploring the Future of Hands-On Learning and EdTech

January 24–26, 2024 | ExCeL London, UK
In January 2024, ON BOTS had the opportunity to participate in Bett UK 2024, one of the world’s leading events for education technology, held at ExCeL London from January 24 to 26.
For ON BOTS, Bett was more than an international education technology exhibition. It was an opportunity to connect with educators, technology professionals, distributors and education-focused businesses from around the world, while gaining a deeper understanding of how technology is shaping the way children learn.
According to the Bett organisers, the 2024 event brought together more than 30,000 visitors from 129 countries and 616 exhibiting companies, creating a truly international platform for education innovation.

Bringing Learning to Life Through Hands-On Experience
At ON BOTS, we believe that children learn best when they are encouraged to build, experiment, create and discover.
Our Electronic Kits are designed to turn abstract concepts such as electricity, circuits, sensors and programming into practical, hands-on experiences.
Instead of simply reading about how a circuit works, children can build one themselves.
Instead of only learning what a sensor does, they can connect it, test it and observe the result.
This approach helps transform learning from something children simply receive into something they actively experience.
At Bett UK 2024, we were excited to share this philosophy with visitors and introduce our range of hands-on educational products.

From Electronics to Coding
One of the key areas we explored at Bett was the growing connection between electronics, coding and STEM education.
ON BOTS is developing a product ecosystem that allows children to progress naturally from basic electronic concepts to more advanced programming projects.
Our product range covers different learning levels, including:
- Electronic Building & Circuit Kits for exploring basic electronics
- Smart Electronic Kits combining sensors and interactive functions
- Programming Kits for learning coding through hands-on projects
- Robotics and STEM Projects that connect hardware with programming
This progression allows children to move from building, to understanding, to coding, and eventually to creating their own projects.

Connecting with the Global Education Community
Bett brought together educators, schools, technology companies, distributors and education professionals from many different countries.
For ON BOTS, these conversations were particularly valuable.
Different markets have different education systems, teaching methods and curriculum requirements. By speaking directly with international education professionals, we gained valuable insights into what teachers, parents and students are looking for from STEM and coding products.
These conversations also helped us better understand the opportunities and challenges of bringing hands-on educational products into different markets.
